Town Supervisor
The role of Town Supervisor is diverse, and requires a number of organizational and financial skills. N.Y. Town Law 29: NY Code-Section 29 details 16 specific responsibilities (in 1,442 words) that comprise the power and duties of a town supervisor. LaFayette’s Town Supervisor adheres to those responsibilities, as well as many other tasks that are unique to our town.

The annual budget is perhaps an entity’s most vital document and is developed using all of the most current and accurate information available. The budget is not just a financial plan; it also has legal implications. Furthermore, the budget process does not end with the adoption of the budget. Instead, the budget is a document that is monitored and amended from time to time, as needed.
